For some reason saying multi sets our mind alight. People love to think they can multi-task, have multi-cultural lives and live in a multi-verse.
What these have in common is that they all offer options. But then you have to choose one. After that, all options available, present again. And then you choose one. And so it goes. Options. Decision. Options. Decision.
The word multi assumes you are actually doing or experiencing many things at the same time. But you are not. You are aware of future options for selecting. Then you need to pick and execute. Then return to full future options.
Yes this happens in split seconds, but it’s still the way it happens.
People love the idea of doing many all at once. Yet, it is many options and then one decision.
So it’s a multi-try at best. And as Yoda says, do or do not, there is no try.
