Drink lots of water every day.
Drink a glass as soon as you wake up to wash out the digested and to hydrate from 6-9 hours sleeping.
Stop drinking at 7pm. That way you won’t wake up as much at night, or at all !
Eight billion people on the planet. I assume most have good intentions. They want to work, make some money, pay for their survival and enjoy a little.
That is why the world is pretty peaceful. Especially when compared to thousands of years of history.
There will be people with bad intentions, of course. They will be like that for a short period (revenge, retribution, immediate survival), or, even fewer, will have evil intentions as their life-long philosophy.
Be mindful of those people and the moments others go briefly rogue. Generally though, most people are guided by good intentions.
There is always a silver lining. Sometimes you have to search very hard for it. Other times it doesn’t feel that great, regarding the silver under the circumstances, but it is there. We can seek to get something out of every experience.
Sometimes it does take days, weeks or years to discover the win or accept it. But when you look, you’ll find the win. Look for one every day.
Appreciate and take care of your things. Look after them. Place them back where they belong so you can easily find them every time you need them.
How much is enough? One car? 10? An all you can eat salad bar, sounds great, but is it more than enough?
How much is enough for you? Regarding anything. Stop and assess this now.
An oldie but a goodie. Once the thing has happened, it’s done. Accept and move on. You can’t undo a car accident. So as long as it is only a fender bender, we need to take these in our stride.
Complain less. Keep your mind focused on what amazing would look like. What do you want? Not what you will settle for.
This is hard for most people. People know what they don’t want or what they are fine with. But it often takes some serious inner work to figure out what you truly want. Not what you’re supposed to want, but really, actually want.
Stop complaining and focusing on past grievances. Bygones.
Keep your mind focused on the future and the amazing components of your amazing life. You get what you think about most of the time.
Think slim. Think wealthy. Think kindness.
There are lots of great things to think about. Think about those things and those things exclusively.
Make the changes in your life quickly. Make them permanent in your mind so there are no ‘ooops’ moments and you do the things you promised yourself you wouldn’t.
There is no need to live the same year 16 years in a row. Change yourself or change your circumstances. But actually do it.
Try to have as many of these moments as you can. If you can get up from an encounter with someone and feel that it was “time well spent” then you are winning!
