Everyone could use a lazy day once in a while. The day could be to stay in your pajama’s, or read books, watch sports on TV, etc
This is not every Saturday, but 1-3 times per year. Throwing a whole day can be very regenerative.

Remember to refuel or you’ll run out of gas.
Your car, and you as well.
Big picture and generalisations have their purpose and place. However, you need to focus on the nitty gritty, nuts and bolts and detailed bits in order to finish a job well.
Make a list of all the steps you can possibly think of to finish a project from this point. Then crack on and get these steps completed.
A cushy life might be a great ideal, where you always get what you want and make little to no sacrifices for your goals.
However, without any sacrifices your resilience wanes and your timing will be off.
You need to have some sacrifices to test your resolve.
Go try your hardest, make sacrifices, suffer a little, you’ll be a better person for it.
When it’s hot, it’s hot.
Try to keep your cool.
You need energy abundance! Although some of that is physical, you can go into hyper drive if you use your mind properly.
Your mind can push you way beyond your current limits. Your mind, well harnessed, can make you go beyond all your expectations.
If you get into the zone and tap into flow, you can be unstoppable.
Pay attention Oilers!!
Where do you want to be in 5 and 10 years? Who do you want to be around? What will you be doing?
Start thinking about, and writing down, these great and wonderful future thoughts today. Get a notebook dedicated to your future you.
Note down things on a daily basis, as many as you can, of what you want, or don’t want, in your life.
Review these daily or at least weekly. Focus on the want, not the how, and the when, not the cost.
Where there is a will, there is a way. Start today!
When the inevitable happens and you need to renew yourself, do it. Regenerate and move on with a thousand life forces, to your new destiny.
Don’t dwell on the past and what could have been. Be delighted in your new direction and the adventure that is to come.
You may have never thought too much about what you are eating, how much you are eating or when you are eating. And unless you’ve had mouth, throat, stomach or bowel challenges, you may not have really considered what the food and drink you consume is doing to you.
Take this moment to reflect on these points. Consider if what you are eating is fuelling your body in the best possible way. Do certain foods not agree with you? Do they make you gassy, bloated or tired?
Just like you wouldn’t put diesel in a petrol car, consider whether what you are eating is right for your body.
In addition, the amount you put in your petrol tank is important. I’m guessing here, but I assume you have never over-filled your tank such that you had petrol all over the station forecourt. So I would suggest not filling your stomach more than its relaxed capacity.
I find it incredible how few calories one actually needs in today’s move-less society. We think we need three meals a day, probably with pudding for at least one of them. Yet we don’t. The 2,000 calories per day might have been more relevant in agrarian society but most people no longer need this level of daily fuel.
Assess what you eat and drink. Re-evaluate everything food related and make some slight changes from today. Your life will be better for it from today onwards.
Cuddle with your little children. Cuddle with your spouse. Cuddle with that special someone, anywhere in the house.
The act of cuddling brings warmth, love, closeness and intimate feelings. Cherish these moments. You’ll miss them when they’re gone.
