It is definitely worthwhile to remember the past if it uplifts you. If it does not, recall it less and less as time goes by. Remove any environmental cues that may activate the memory. You become what you focus on so it’s best to recall good or informative times more frequently than purely painful ones.

Go With Your Gut
Despite all the data, sometimes you need to go with your gut.
Having A Different Opinion
It doesn’t make you right or wrong. And it doesn’t make you better or worse. Generally it means you interpret something differently than someone else. Which is normal and fine.
You may have noticed a movement or word that your angle, position, experience or education may have enhanced for you. Then you may have filtered that through different thoughts, values and ideas you have from your limited experience and knowledge of the entire known universe.
This can bring you to a slightly different conclusion compared to someone else or even to create a polar opposite opinion.
In addition, you may simply be trying to create a particular position so only select data relevant to your desired opinion.
Rather than be cross, anxious or bewildered by another person’s opinion, try to enjoy watching it unfold. Watch people make up their mind about their opinion, or simply parrot someone else’s (that is socially acceptable among their peer group), and then find the data to justify it or just badger you with their opinion without balanced material. Fascinating.
Why Be Difficult?
It’s so easy to be harmonious. Work with people when they communicate with you. Trying to make things more difficult with tone, facial expressions and unnecessary commentary or poor volume is not ideal nor is it helpful.
Make the effort. Build good communication skills. This doesn’t mean be a pushover. Still have boundaries. Maintain your position if it’s right for you. Just do so in a way so as to not antagonise other people.
Distractions
Some are good and some are bad. Some can be helpful to have and others are less so. As per usual, it depends.
Life’s A Beach
It can be simple. Just you and nature. Au naturel. Or you can add swimsuits, SeaDoos, picnics, noodles, diving board, slide, and a boat. Just like in life, you can always add more. Yet, when is enough, enough? Appreciate the simple things and you’ll love what you have.
Life Is Fast Paced
Do try to keep up!! Even when you’re resting, it’s moving at incredible speed. Take a deep breath, gather your thoughts and get back in there!
Some Things Flow Well
Sometimes you’ll notice how well things are flowing, like traffic, an airport, or even your thoughts. And other times you’ll notice that it seems like you’re swimming upstream, going against the flow, or struggling to get traction. Aim for flow, as a producer or consumer, because everyone will benefit.
Non-Standard Items
There seems to be a tendency to do things our own way, as individuals, or in companies. This makes things unique and interesting. Though it can also make things inefficient and difficult. Non-standard items such as electrical plugs, rail gauge and forms could be addressed soon, for efficiencies sake.
Customer Service
Yikes. Some is terrible. Though some are really great. Today, however a bank/credit card company and a car rental company have been so very painful. I don’t recall ever being engaged for so long and walking away with such little progress. Some companies need to be reminded that our time is more valuable than their cost efficiencies.
