Small Steps Add Up
Giant leaps of progress are brilliant. You feel you are really moving. But each small step adds up too. So remember to celebrate every little step. These are the building blocks to your incredible future.
Explore Your Mind
Be brave and learn about yourself. What makes you tick and what do you avoid and why? If something impacts you, figure out why. Ask yourself questions. Push your own buttons. It’s not easy but you’ll be a better person for it.
Hard Times
We rarely feel good going through them but we feel stronger after. That sense of reassurance, resilience and confidence to overcome tough obstacles feels great once you make it through. Focus on that light at the end of the tunnel. Faith and hope will get you through.
Decide To Change And Stop Wavering
To change something, you really need to commit. This needs to be a commitment that you really mean and intend to follow through on. One where you’ll accept anyone’s help to reach your goal.
You must set out a written plan, set up your environment to win, and track your key progress items every day. If these three things aren’t done, you’ll know the level of commitment you’re working at.
Walking
It’s very good for you. You can also see so much of your local area. And you can see things in better detail than you can from a moving bike or car.
We did nearly 11.000 steps, to and through Richmond Park this morning. Lovely. Felt so good.
All In Or Hold Back
There are times you need to be on the front foot and not hold back. Like that moment you stamp down the ramp in skateboarding, or begin your descent in ski jumping, there is no stopping or turning back. You are all in. Try to do that with everything you do.
Book Something 1 Year In Advance
Consider your life and this longer term goal. Commit to something quite some time away. Learn to think in years and decades rather than the moment, today or even this week. Think longer term and make better decisions.
Do Your Best Or Win?
Would you rather do your absolute best at something and come second or be off your game but still win?
Find Your Passion
Go after it. Search. Explore. Discover. Spend one week and search online, talk to people, watch clips and try things out. Be proactive. Then shortlist three of your favourite ideas. Explore them for three months. Then go for one all in. You can change later if it is no longer for you.
Don’t wait all your life to find it. Hunt it down.
