The Power Of Thought

Everything begins in the mind and with a thought. It is the kernel, the seed, the beginning. From there, anything can happen.

Your body responds to the thoughts in your mind. Even when you don’t think you have thought, you have. You don’t think through how to walk across the room. You just see yourself over there and off you go!

Start with a thought and it can take you anywhere.

And do not be concerned if few people see your destination. It always starts with one person and their vision. Airplanes are ubiquitous today, but 200 years ago flying was a wild idea. Even 120 years ago, only a few people could see it happening. Then, once the first flight occurred in Kitty Hawk, in 1903, more people believed and saw the potential.

Now, so many of us benefit from the power of that original thought by someone who was dreaming of a better world.

Use the power of thought to start changing your life. Reimagine your corner of the world and begin.

Cherish Old Photographs

A snapshot in time can be so valuable. It can remind us of how things were or we’d like them to be. Happier times can be captured. So can people we no longer see everyday.

We can look at old photos and hear the echo of the past. Sometimes the voices will inspire or haunt us. We can know the story or make one up. It’s a powerful medium.

Cherish old photographs, as that time will never be again.

Moormead Pavilion Decision

Fascinating that removing a decrepit, disused, eyesore with no useful functionality and building a new, modern, uplifting and useful pavilion had to be debated for a further 2.5 hours.

The meeting concluded correctly with unanimous agreement to move forward with the plan as spearheaded by Gaz. Well done Gaz, the rest of the team, all the local supporters and the councillors who made a great decision in the end.

Nice to see some common sense being used.

Relax – You Can’t Do It All

This is an important observation.

There is a lot to do in launching my new book. There are best practices and pre-order marketing along with preparation for post launch and how to price during the first week or two and beyond.

Like preparing to go on holiday and leaving the office for two weeks, you can’t sort everything. You can delegate and dismiss items but you can’t do them all yourself.

So just relax. And so will I. I’ve made huge progress in learning and doing. I will continue to make more progress until the launch and well beyond it.

There will be many tomorrow’s after the 23rd January launch. So be sure to enjoy the process and the success that has been happening.

Approaching A Milestone

Milestones can be very exciting markers. Approaching a milestone, hitting one or even looking back on one can be quite exhilarating. In a week, I will have written a daily blog for 730 consecutive days. That is 24 months or two years.

That is 730 days of thoughts to help you, and me, get clear on what positive means and how to think better to feel better with all that goes on in this world.

I hope I have helped you get clearer, become more positive and stop and think a bit more without simply reacting to things because that is the easier way. And I hope you are gearing up to achieve anything you want in 2022.

There are people who are willing to help. I am one of them. They can assist you in getting the results you want. You can fool some of the people some of the time but you can’t fool them.
