Decide And Do

Decide that this is a “Heck Yes!” item and then set about doing it. Do that as much as you can in one day. Don’t wait until you feel like it. And don’t wait for someone else to come do it for you or help.

Focus on it. Get it started. Work hard at it. Learn. Do. Be uncomfortable and get through it. Finish the job. Sure you can have someone look over it at the end. But sort it out and get to the end on your own first. It can feel daunting or hard but you’ll feel so much better about yourself once you’ve done it.

Savour What You Have Overcome

We all have to overcome something at some point. We’re actually overcoming many hurdles every day. But do we appreciate what we have achieved or accomplished? Do you recognise the significance of the moment?

Think back to some of the huge hurdles in your life and how you overcame them. Consider what a huge turning point each of those victories became. Savour your victories.

Write out three major things that you have overcome in your life. Read them out two or three times. Savour your victories.

Celebrate Good Times!

Come on! It’s time to celebrate.

Sometimes you just need good friends gathered to have a lovely time. Even in dark days, tough times or a lonesome road ahead, getting up and getting out to have a chat and a laugh can work wonders for your mindset and your health.

If you’re in it together and can appreciate how good your life is, even in difficult circumstances, you’ll at least enjoy the moment. And that’s all we have. Moments.

Timing Is Everything

Think catching the bouquet, a fly ball or a wave. Or consider arriving on holiday as a hurricane is announced, living during a pandemic, or far worse, a war, or sharing a lift in a foreign land with the person you eventually marry.

Timing can be good or bad, brilliant or devastating. Try to set up your environment to win and set up your mindset to win too.

Maximise your good timing and minimise your bad timing. Get yourself where you’ll reap more benefits.

Perhaps timing isn’t everything but it is incredibly influential.

We all have lessons that keep repeating and we get outcomes we don’t necessarily want.

We can change this. We can learn the lessons. We can make the changes and say No More!

We haven’t learned the lessons because it’s not convenient, easy, or comfortable. They are habits we created. But we can create other ones. It takes work to adjust these habits. We need Discipline, Effort, and Desire to have better outcomes.

No longer do we have to say “Why does this always happen to me?” Or “Isn’t that typical” or even “I knew that would happen”.

Change our ways today and get better results tomorrow. Live a better life with just some simple changes in how we think and do.

We can set up our environment to win. We can set up our schedule to win. We can start today.

Learn the lessons the feedback is giving you. And then make the adjustments. Yes, it will feel odd at first, but it will get easier and your results will be much better.

Keep Achieving More

There is no time to stop. You can pause for a holiday or vacation, but don’t stop. There is so much to do and not nearly enough time to cram it all in before the final buzzer.

How does one keep achieving more? Well there are 7 Simple Steps. First Think of a better future. Imagine it is exactly how you would like it to be, right down to the tiny details. Then, consider what you have to Overcome to get there and what sacrifices you’ll need to make.

Write down your thoughts and challenges. Get it all on paper or in your device. Use this information to create a simple Plan. Then Act accordingly to bring you closer to your goal. Review your progress and challenges every day. You’ll need to improve and hold yourself accountable.

Finally, Celebrate all your little and big wins. Give yourself lots of credit. This isn’t all easy stuff. It takes effort and determination. Thank yourself for getting through it.

Sometimes people will spend two hours explaining how they got into a mess or a situation. Usually, what would be more helpful is spending that two hours devising a plan to move forward.
