When doing anything, book months in advance, or at least weeks. It gives you something to look forward to, is usually cheaper, and there are usually more options to select from.

Commitment
It’s a simple switch in your brain. Don’t be so afraid to flick it. Say, “yes I’ll commit” and then go whole hog on it to the end!
Will You Pay The Price?
Everything has a price. It’s usually in money terms, or in time, emotion, mental, physical or spiritual means. Sometimes it is several of these at the same time.
Regardless, if there is something you want, it probably lies on the other side of that price that you’ll need to pay.
Be careful you don’t pay too big of a price to achieve your goal. Though equally, do not think you can pay too little and still reach your dream.
Assess your goal and then consider what sacrifices and price you’ll end up paying. Consider this well. Then, if acceptable, start paying the price and making the sacrifices so that you can reach your ultimate goal.
Things Take Time
Pregnancy takes nine months. Babies take 18 years to grow and become adults. Even the Olympics takes 6 years to build, prepare or train for.
Assume everything might take longer than expected. Use this assumption to even go to your meeting today.
Things take time. Not forever but maybe a little longer than you anticipated.
Plan accordingly.
Commit
Be disciplined and follow through on what you commit to.
If it is the gym on Thursday morning at 06:00, then you make sure you’re there at 05:55. No snooze button. No roll over. Just get on your gear and go.
If you aren’t serious, don’t commit.
If you commit, you go. No excuses.
Learn Something New Today
This could be anything. Aim to learn something from history or geography or learn about a skill you’ve wondered about it.
You don’t have to master it or go full deep dive for 3 hours. Simply read a little about it, watch a documentary or even listen to a podcast.
Take 10 minutes today and learn something. It’s a start you can build on. Fuel your interests and develop your world.
Seek Best Outcome – Always
Always aim for the best outcome. This is the best outcome after assessing everything for everyone. You will not likely please everyone. However, maximise for the most people reaching the best outcome.
Commit
Commit to someone or something. You can put yourself first sometimes but commit to something bigger than you.
You will find energy and purpose in doing this.
Four Years Of Pain
I find it hard to believe that there are a significant amount of people that are on track to be outraged every day, about the current US administration, for four more years.
Four years is a long time to be outraged. Especially if they have been in that mode for the last four or even nine years. A person could get very old and bitter complaining about one man for 13 years.
This is a good point for all people. Assess what you are doing and why, frequently. Complaining is not a good look. Find some positive things about what’s going on and focus on that. Or do other things completely.
Turn off the tv. Stop reading and following people on social media. Your life is passing you by. And you may not even be enjoying it that much!
Gosh, the world survived a first Trump term, it will be fine with another.
The world has survived civil wars, revolutions, world wars, actual genocide attempts, the black plague, and all kinds of other challenging moments and decades.
Not only will the world survive, it may begin to thrive again.
Sit back and enjoy your life. Don’t let this age you.
Time
Use it wisely.
