Focus your time and attention on key tasks each day and week. Do not overburden yourself with too many tasks to do. You are likely to dilute the progress you are making.
You can change your circumstances.
Have hope. Create a vision. Make a plan. Work towards it.
Get through a day, a week and a month. It will get easier. Five years from now you’ll look back and be astounded with how far you’ve come and how different your life is.
Your mindset is the only thing you truly have that can’t be ruined if you stay strong.
It’s so ready to fall into a negative mindset, wallow there, and think everything is bad. It takes incredible strength to keep positive about your future when things aren’t going your way.
Yet, you can do it. Focus on the amazing 90% and not the dreary 10%. You’ll be happier. Your friends will be happier. You’ll attract happier people into your life.
Getting things done can sometimes be a challenge. Some items take longer than expected or deliver curve balls that you can’t quite handle easily.
Regardless of the challenges, train yourself to take rapid action. Try to complete tasks in two minutes, or five at the maximum. Then get straight on to the next one.
This sprint style of completing tasks will greatly help you progress through your workload at a pace that will leave most people in awe.
When was the last time you took a look at your goals, their timing and how well your tracking against them?
Some things should be reviewed daily. Other items would be fine on a weekly basis. Much bigger picture items can be reviewed on a monthly basis and even annually. Although make sure all the smaller milestones for these big goals are reviewed more frequently.
Goals are wonderful things to have but you really do need to be kept accountable with them or you’ll miss the outcome, the timing or both.
From booking a holiday, to medical appointments, buying a car and mortgage applications, things take a fair amount of time.
Not only do you need to really want to do the thing, you have to be willing to spend the time to organise and prepare for it!!
Not as easy as you think.
Enjoy!
Of course you would like to win the lottery. However, with odds north of 45 million to one, it is not very likely.
In some cases it’s mathematical and in other cases it’s karma, the law of attraction or balance in the universe.
The harder you push to get what you’d like rather than what is likely, the more probable you will fail.
