It’s probably slightly different for a lot of people. Only you can decide what is important in your life. And we will know by what you actually do and not what you tell us.
You can make assumptions, guess or shrug your shoulders, or you can simply find out why. Ask the questions. Listen to the answers. It sounds so simple. Because it is.
Few things can even come close to the joy felt of raising lovely kids. When your kids are polite, try something new in earnest, laugh with you or appreciate you for trying to give them your best everyday, it is incredibly heartwarming. Knowing you’ve had a hand in raising these lovely kids is a wonderful thing.
It’s a great thing to do. It is often fun and enjoyable and great memories can be made. Kids are great at this. They always like a friend over or a sleep over. It’s just a lot of fun. Do more of this.

We all like to be right. But given our unique circumstances growing up, we all see the world a little differently. So to insist your interpretation of the world is the only one, or the correct one, demonstrates a level of narcissism or naivety. Your problems weren’t problems for everyone and your success wasn’t experienced by everyone else. So ease up on your Warrior stance and listen to the view of others.
