Celebrate Today!

It doesn’t have to be your 26th wedding anniversary, it could simply be because you’re breathing. Or celebrate that you have a job where they pay you money. Celebrate because you have your eyesight, nice hair, a car you enjoy driving or a clean kitchen.

There are a lot of reasons why you would celebrate today. You had better get started!

Celebrate The Finishing Touches

When you have done a great job on something, do a little extra and make it amazing. Deliberately dazzle people. Make things shine.

My wife is brilliant at this. She will work exceptionally hard to get things done and then push through the exhaustion to deliver a distinguished result. Take a look at our property portfolio and you will see.

Make it amazing and then celebrate the finishing touches.

Celebrate Good Times!

Come on! It’s time to celebrate.

Sometimes you just need good friends gathered to have a lovely time. Even in dark days, tough times or a lonesome road ahead, getting up and getting out to have a chat and a laugh can work wonders for your mindset and your health.

If you’re in it together and can appreciate how good your life is, even in difficult circumstances, you’ll at least enjoy the moment. And that’s all we have. Moments.

Celebrate The Royalty

I received great news on Tuesday! I received my first ever royalty payment. My book, Achieve Anything, has sold more copies than I imagined at this point! Copies have been purchased in 24 countries, across six continents, around the world.

It was really exciting to have another income stream working. But even more exciting was the thought that so many people have been interested in buying the book and changing their lives. And quite a few people have left great, gold-star reviews or reached out to me with kind words or related how much it has been helping them. That’s priceless.

So I’ve been celebrating the royalty payment today and what it signifies. Hopefully I can help or inspire far more people in the weeks and months to come.

Thank you to all of you who have bought the book, got in touch, written a review, recommended it to a friend, family member or colleague or are simply using the content to improve your own lives and therefore the lives of others too. You are awesome. I’m cheering for you and want you to win!!!

Celebrate Milestones!

This is my 731st daily post. Today is the 2nd anniversary of my daily blogging. I said I’d do one year and that would be a real accomplishment. Then I developed discipline, a habit and a winning streak and out popped another 365!

I’ve enjoyed writing the posts and I hope many people have enjoyed reading them and got some value from them.

I have 551 draft, or partially drafted, blog posts in my folder. I might use some of those for this 3rd year of blogging. Many were harder to write as they were controversial or required a level of research or nuance in writing them well.

Perhaps this will be the year to let a few of those loose.

I’ve also got a new book written, published and available for pre-order at many online bookstores large and small. Amazon, Waterstones, Barnes&Noble and Chapters/Indigo are a few.

There’s a hardback, paperback and an ebook version at the moment. The official launch date for Achieve Anything is the 23rd January. Look into picking up a copy.

An audiobook version is on the cards but will take more time than I can swing at the moment. It’s something for everyone to look forward to. ?

So I’m delighted with today’s milestone, with the blog, and with having a book available on Amazon.

I look forward to helping more people think better to feel better, open their minds even more and achieve their dreams with 7 simple steps.

Here’s to you in 2022!

Celebrate Your Wins!!!

An essential part of life is enjoying it. And you can create a lot of momentum if you celebrate little and large wins. So make sure you book in little celebrations after every milestone.

Celebrations can be in the form of high fives, fist pumps, a little dance, or a favourite food or drink. For slightly larger wins, book a walk, lunch or dinner. Big wins might attract bigger events like a cruise, vacation, weekend away or special purchase. It might even be as simple as spending special time with someone you have had to miss seeing while you have been achieving your goals.

This is easy to overlook or see as being just silly or frivolous. But it will make your life more joy-filled. Don’t always wait for just the big win at the end of the year or decade. Some people wait their whole life before they can smile and truly enjoy where they are and the success they’ve been creating. My suggestion though is to not wait.

Celebrate, proportionally, as much as you can! It feels good and is quite motivational. It also reinvigorates you.

Celebrate is step seven in my forthcoming book – Achieve Anything – The 7 Simple Steps to Shift from Uncomfortable to Unstoppable. Be sure you include frequent, but proportional, celebrations for every perceived win. Mix it up. Do some free and paid-for ones. You will be so grateful you did this step a lot. It really makes your life more enjoyable. Build your confidence and happy factor. Celebrate your wins!!!

Celebrate Life’s Special Moments

As you get a little older, or at least a little wiser, you realise how important each moment is. Celebrate life’s special moments as often as you can. They come and go so quickly.

My wonderful Mom turned 75 today. You wouldn’t know it. Full of energy and a positive, joyful attitude might make her seem younger than she is. She’s also fit and healthy, so that helps keep her youthful looking too.

Celebrating her birthday was great, despite it being in a Covid friendly, socially distanced way. It was lovely to join her in a conversation over Zoom to celebrate this milestone birthday. Technology is fabulous that way.

In preparing for this grand event, we were able to get some birthday videos sent to us from friends and family. A great little website called VidHug helped us out too. It is better than a card. You get a personalised memory delivered ’in person’. And the video will be easy to keep and find.

What struck me was so many people’s willingness to participate in fun, quirky and lovely ways. It was beautiful to hear their kind comments and the fond memories they had of Mom. It wanted me to make a bigger video with more people. She’s truly a unique and wonderful woman.

Celebrate life’s special moments whenever you can. Don’t wait. It will open your eyes to life’s beauty.
