Time Moves Forward
Occasionally time moves too slow or too fast. One thing is for certain though – time moves forward.
You can’t go back and unsay things or undo things. You have to accept and move on. This can be hard or easy, depending on what the situation was.
We can fight time and try to hold it back. Or we can decide not to accept the situation. However, it tends to make life a lot more difficult in those cases.
It would be easier if we didn’t have these emotion things. But we do. So don’t be too hard on yourself. Time also heals all wounds. You might just need more time than you would like it to be.
Want To Be Right Or Progress Forward?
Oftentimes we are so focused on our own view, and holding on to it, and defending it so we can be “right”, that we miss the opportunity to improve the situation.
While we stick to our perspective and search only for data to support our bias, we don’t listen to evidence being presented that may have some merit. Defending our position and being right becomes the overriding objective, not solving the problem.
Imagine the improvement in our world if we focused on really understanding the different perspectives presented, clarifying what the actual issue is and using all the data to find a better way ahead.
Try focusing on a better outcome rather than defending your position. It’ll be a game changer.
What Are You Looking Forward To?
What are you really looking forward to in January 2024? What makes you excited each day just thinking about it?
If you haven’t got something, imagine something and focus on that. Get some excitement in your day. You’ll feel better and your life will be richer. It can be simple like seeing someone come back home from a trip or eating your favourite food at a friends house. Enjoy the simple and low cost things as there are so many of them.
Take Another Step Forward
No matter how tough life gets, take another step forward each day. Make that your number one habit.
Keep Pressing Forward
No matter what you do, keep pressing forward. It may seem too difficult or even useless. But keep moving things in the direction you need. Write out and plan every step and then execute on that plan. You will be successful if you do this. You may even become unstoppable.
