There are times when not knowing something Is better than knowing. And there are times when not knowing something will drive you crazy.
Our minds will fill in the blanks based on our biases, if we don’t get information to fill the knowledge gap.
Often the stories we make up will be negative or have a negative edge. That’s just a natural tendency for our brain.
So be careful when you don’t know information that you don’t just fill it in with fear and negative thoughts.
100 billion people have lived on Earth. To know everything about everyone of their lives would take 100 billion lifetimes. That could be somewhere around 2 trillion years.
Even to know a little bit about 20 friends and family takes many hours, days, months or even years of spending time with them.
Perhaps it’s best to limit the amount you know about all these people in the world, especially people you have never even met.
Think about it. Spend the time on your life, not finding out everything about others.
