Prepare your day with positive message. Listen to great speeches, books, cassettes and programs. Feed your mind important philosophical messages.
Do not dump garbage into your head. Be selective.
In all things, find the positive. The silver lining is there, you just need to look a little more. See things differently than you want to see them. Assess them with possibility.
It’s easy to find the negative in pretty much anything. Now make your brain work a little harder. Find the positive in everything.
Why?
First, while you’re busy looking for positive things to say, your brain will be too busy to notice the negative things. Secondly, by looking for the positive, you’ll create a habit for yourself and looking for the positive will get easier and become default normal.
Thirdly, you’ll soon be a happier person overall and everyone you know will notice the wonderful difference.
Are you generally a positive, upbeat type of person? Do you complain about what’s wrong and unfair and needs to change? Maybe it’s your attitude.
Being positive is usually just a matter of training your mind. Of course, you can train it to be negative, or to complain, just as easily. But, you’ll start gravitating to people who are like that too.
You may have noticed that complainers complain and that birds of a feather flock together. Be mindful of which groups you belong to.
In the face of hardship, it’s the one helpful thing you can do.
Even in the darkest of times, keep positive thoughts. They will help you through the darkness until you see the light again.
It really does help. If nothing else, it makes the whole experience and journey better. Even a not very pleasant one.
When times are tough, we may think of the worst case scenario or even a disaster scenario. Remember this is not happening to you. It is just your mind being active with negative thoughts. So, as hard as it may be, focus on positive outcomes, wins and victory. Feel this as if they are real.
As neither are real, you may as well give yourself the feeling of the positive thoughts. Train your brain. It’s worth it.
So many great things happened today and I am riding high! From one son going to the regional athletics finals today (the other on Wednesday), my book has been on Amazon best seller lists for two weeks, audiobook is ready and pre-launch feedback has been great so far, finances are lining up for next steps in property, calls and appointments are working well, 25th gold star rating for Achieve Anything on Amazon showed up this evening and we had a great room on Clubhouse today.
When your day lines up this well, you have to celebrate! Enjoy the moment.
