It’s all you’ve got. You can choose your mindset at any time and in any circumstance.
So choose something helpful.
Be positive.
You are what you think about. Happy thoughts? Sad thoughts? Fears? Success?
Stop once a day and think about what you’ve let run loose in your mind. Be mindful.
Escort your negative, fearful thoughts to the door and close it. If there was something to learn or be aware of, take that, but don’t dwell.
Look for positive, encouraging and inspiring thoughts. Dwell on those all day.
Make sure your food for thought is a healthy meal!
It’s such an amazing, wonderful characteristic. It draws people toward you. It makes life so much better.
Sometimes life hits hard and it would be easy to get lost down a negative rabbit hole. You need to resist that. Take a moment and refocus.
Train all your energy on being a positive force with a positive mindset. Be grateful for all that you have. It is far more than you think. Appreciate where you are and what you have. The grass is greener where you water it. So pour some water on your side of the street.
Maintain, or re-establish, a positive focus. Do not let the negative thoughts gain a foothold in your mind. You can beat this and lead people to a better place if you stay positive focused.
Your mindset is the only thing you truly have that can’t be ruined if you stay strong.
It’s so ready to fall into a negative mindset, wallow there, and think everything is bad. It takes incredible strength to keep positive about your future when things aren’t going your way.
Yet, you can do it. Focus on the amazing 90% and not the dreary 10%. You’ll be happier. Your friends will be happier. You’ll attract happier people into your life.
In all things, find the positive. The silver lining is there, you just need to look a little more. See things differently than you want to see them. Assess them with possibility.
It’s easy to find the negative in pretty much anything. Now make your brain work a little harder. Find the positive in everything.
Why?
First, while you’re busy looking for positive things to say, your brain will be too busy to notice the negative things. Secondly, by looking for the positive, you’ll create a habit for yourself and looking for the positive will get easier and become default normal.
Thirdly, you’ll soon be a happier person overall and everyone you know will notice the wonderful difference.
Are you generally a positive, upbeat type of person? Do you complain about what’s wrong and unfair and needs to change? Maybe it’s your attitude.
Being positive is usually just a matter of training your mind. Of course, you can train it to be negative, or to complain, just as easily. But, you’ll start gravitating to people who are like that too.
You may have noticed that complainers complain and that birds of a feather flock together. Be mindful of which groups you belong to.
In the face of hardship, it’s the one helpful thing you can do.
