Find Or Allocate Time

You can’t “Make” time. You can find time in your schedule and allocate or re-allocate it. Look at your priorities and decide how you want to spend your time.

Many aspects are mutually exclusive, though some aren’t. You can drive while listening to a podcast or an audio book. But you can’t drive while watching a video.

So if you prioritise what is the most important value, and stick with it, you’ll get a lot more of what you want in life.

Make Some Me Time

Carve out a little corner of your day to get some me time just for you. Maybe you need a whole day away or even an overnight stay. Whatever it is you need to get some space and time, you should book it in. Sometimes it seems like the wrong time but more often than not, you’ll be glad you did it!

Too Little Time

No matter how much you have, it often seems we have too little time. Whether it’s a trip you are on, a project you’re doing or life itself, you really have to prioritise because time is your essential, expiring resource.

All In Good Time

Things don’t always go to plan. And some things take longer than you’d want them to. Things such as having a flat battery, traffic accidents on your route somewhere, or delays to aircraft or buses. Take it all in stride and find a positive reason for the delay. You might just find one: or two.

Book Time For Walks

Walks are great. They are very good for your overall well-being, both mental and physical. It’s a good time to clear your head, have new thoughts, see new things, listen to books or podcasts or chat with a friend, in person or on the phone. Make walking time a daily priority. You’ll thank me later.

Detail Can Be Time Consuming

Big generalisations are quick and easy. Getting into accurate detail takes time. Most people don’t have the time or want to make the time in their day. So they use the generalisation short cut.

Time To Go

When is it time to leave? This can apply to a party, a job, a relationship, a casino or a country. Most people don’t like leaving when all is going well. Some folks prefer to stay longer if they think they can fix it, improve it or it is going to change for the better.

The decision to leave is a complicated one and really depends on the circumstances in the moment. That said, you should definitely consider your options, at various times, though sometimes your grass is greener than you think.
