Enjoy Conversation
Take the time to listen to what people are saying. Really engage your ears and hear what they are saying and why they are saying it. Engage with questions, comments and inflections.
Find out more than just the headlines. See behind those ideas and stories and learn the lesson being offered, whether inadvertently or with intent from the storyteller.
Enjoy the conversation you’re having. A great conversation can be fondly remembered for days or even years.
Find Your Strength
Inner strength and physical strength can both be augmented via mental strength. Build your mental strength to improve the others. Build your resilience and recharge process.
Sometimes a very deep breath, straightening your back, lifting your chin and feeling determined are enough to make an incredible and immediate shift in your mindset and perceived ability to succeed despite the challenges ahead.
Think. Dream. Visualise.
Get going on this first step. Ignore your life today, as it is, and start noting down your absolute ideal life.
Don’t try to figure out the how, just focus on the what. What would your ideal life, in all aspects, look like?
Get as broad and detailed as possible. Paint a magnificent picture. Do no hold back.
Enjoy A Lazy Day
Everyone could use a lazy day once in a while. The day could be to stay in your pajama’s, or read books, watch sports on TV, etc
This is not every Saturday, but 1-3 times per year. Throwing a whole day can be very regenerative.
Refuel
Remember to refuel or you’ll run out of gas.
Your car, and you as well.
You’ll Get Through
Resilience is a critical attribute or skill to have. Being able to survive and thrive, despite challenges and difficult times, is such an important mindset to develop to a high degree.
Life isn’t always fair and neither does it go to plan every day. Sometimes you struggle for days, weeks or months on end. You need to be able to navigate the ups and downs of life without losing overall enthusiasm and discipline to carry on without missing a beat.
Learn how to bounce back, keep going, build a vision, and not let things hold you down and trap you there for weeks, months or years.
Life’s short. You’ll get through anything you train your brain to get through, persevere and move forward stridently.
The sooner you can learn to bounce back quickly, the more incredible your life will be.
Plan! Plan! Plan!
No matter what you do, you should have a plan. A written plan is even better. It’s great to have thought things through a little and have written down those key points or elements.
This is great visualisation process and prepares you for speed bumps and other challenges you might encounter.
See the vision. Adjust as necessary.
Life Can Be Hard
Smile more!
