Write things down. Write out your plans and activities, your dreams and desires. Write your goals.
When you do this put the full date on the page. Years from now you’ll be amazed at what you wrote.

Adore them every day. Let them know through words and touch, throughout the day and evening. Let them enjoy being adored each day.
For one day, they may be gone, or perhaps you will have passed and not be able to adore them anymore. Both are sad and unfortunate outcomes. So focus your efforts on today and makes sure they feel loved throughout the entire day.
They will never forget that feeling. Or you for giving it to them.
Is there something in your life, or the world in general, that you could appreciate more? Do you appreciate the clothes you are wearing right now? I wonder if you’ve even thought about them much in the past, or just taken them for granted.
What else do you take for granted? There are probably many things you would notice if they disappeared but don’t even consider on a day to day basis. I’m thinking about the water you drink, the toilet you flush, your toothpaste, being able to walk, your vocabulary, your housing and your job.
The more you can be thankful, grateful for, and appreciate, all the small and large things in your life, the happier and more attractive you will become.
It would be very unusual to be so full of gratitude and not be found more attractive by other people. You would probably be radiating charm and enthusiasm for life. Try it and see!
You chose your goals for 2026. I hope you wrote them down. If you made them clear and specific, go back and review them. If you didn’t, go spend a few minutes refining them and putting in details and timeframes.
Then stick to your decisions. Do not waver. You erode your confidence if you do not honour your decisions.
It’s the first Sunday of the new year. Take a break and enjoy the moment. The fun and frantic of Christmas and New Year are now over. You can relax and enjoy the calm now that you’ve made it through.
It’s a great day to catch your breath and reflect before you launch into an exciting and fast paced new year on Monday. You’ll need all your energy to keep up with this exciting new year and be able to squeeze the juice from this amazing opportunity we all have before us.
Put your feet up. Relax. Enjoy. Recalibrate. Re-energise. And prepare your mind for the success of 2026!
Hope you still have your New Year’s Momentum! Now you need to create a habit and get some discipline going. Keep your goal in sight. Move forward on it everyday.
How did it go? Did you stick to your plan? Waver at all? Did you stay resolute? Did you shift 1% to the better?
Keep making daily progress. In 30 days you’ll be proud of what you’ve achieved and you’ll be unrecognisable.
Take today and reflect on the past year. Write down 10 highlights from the year. Write down 20 if you can.
Be grateful for those experiences. They are yours.
Then review the goals you wrote out these last few days. Keep them handy and review them for at least 10 minutes daily. Do that every day this year.
2026 is going to be your year! But you do have to put the effort in, get disciplined and stay focused.
Now you have your goals drafted out with a high level plan. Brilliant! Celebrate that achievement!
Now start working those plans. Move things forward by one action every day. Whether it is a phone call, 20 minutes of research or buying a piece of equipment, get it done this morning.
Get some momentum going.
Good luck. Take action. Follow the plans. Win!
Now that you have a list of written ideas, goals, activities, targets, desires and possibilities, we’re going to organise them, move forward toward achieving them and assess our progress, celebrating every little, and large, win along the way!
Step 4 from my book is Plan. Make a brief written plan to achieve the key goals you’re going to focus on. Get timings roughly predicted. Note major milestones you’ll need to reach.
Once you have a basic plan, you move on to Step 5 which is Action. You need to get momentum behind your goals so you’ll need to take action. You’ll need to make phone calls, send text messages, do research, apply, read contracts, study, sign agreements etc.
As you are taking action, you’ll need to review your plan and assess where you are compared to where you should be. Step 6 is Review. See what is going well and what isn’t. Understand what you excel at and what you have dropped. Track your timings and progress to see if you’re on track. If you’re not on track, how can you get back on track?
Finally, Step 7 is Celebrate. It is often a long and challenging road to reach and achieve your goals. To keep up your momentum, resilience and energy/stamina, you will need to celebrate each effort and all the milestone success along the way.
You must do all 7 steps from my book Achieve Anything. If you don’t have success, when you want it, it will be because you’re not doing one of the steps or not doing it fully.
Good luck! 2026 awaits!
