Get Great Sleep
Good sleep is fine. But GREAT sleep is what you want to aim for. Get to bed at the same time each night and get up at the same time each morning.
10pm to 6am gets you 8 hours. That’s excellent!
Your life will dramatically improve after a month of keeping a great schedule like that.
The Power Of One Day
Spoiler alert‼️ Life ends.
For some people it’s quietly, alone in their sleep. For other people it may be more sudden, severe or unexpected.
However it happens, and whenever the buzzer goes, it is usually preceded by a fight for survival. We have an inborn desire to survive. And yes, we will automatically go into fight, flight or freeze mode, but if there is time, many of us will choose fight in order to survive.
While fighting will be in our own way, we will fight for time with our loved ones and to see another day.
The power of one more day can be immense.
Check out this powerful and moving 20 second reel by Ed and you’ll understand this even better.
Just Add Fun
No matter what you are doing, if you have fun on your mind, you can always add a little bit in to your day.
A sneaky smile, an amusing word, a laugh or some kind of physical interjection can bring a bit of levity and fun to almost any situation.
Stay young and have fun.
Details
Supposedly, the Devil is in the details. So if you don’t pay close attention to the details, you could be misled. deceived or fooled.
Try Harder On Everything
Push your limits. Squeeze the juice out. Make things happen.

Get Intentional
Understand your intent. Be clear why you are allowing the things you are thinking, saying and doing.
What outcome do you want? Once you know that, it is easy to know what you need to do to achieve that outcome. Get intentional.
Keep Things Simple
Spend some nice time with family and friends. Keep a daily fitness regime because if you don’t use it, you will lose it.
Keep track of your money in and money out at least weekly. It only takes a few minutes to look over your bank account and makes sure everything that should be there is and anything that shouldn’t be there is addressed immediately.
Find healthy ways to relax or bring calm to your life. Occasional drink can be ok but don’t use alcohol to self medicate and escape. If you do currently, explore other options that will be better for you.
Consider what you are spending your retirement savings on each day. Each penny you spend goes to fund someone else’s retirement dream and not yours. Once you have $250,000, or more, invested in your retirement funds, then you can spend more freely. Until then, be smart with your money. Have a savings plan and stick to it!
Be Precise
The more precise you are with words, timing and goals, the more likely you will get what you want.
When you are vague or generalise, you give up the precision and get what you get. People that can envision and clearly articulate a precise plan or concept, take control of the process and increase the likelihood of getting their desired outcome.
Do you order a drink (super vague), coffee (general), or a moca latte to go with 1 cube of sugar and a dash of whipped cream on top? If you wanted the latter but ordered the former and received a small mug of orangina with a cube of ice, would you be delighted? Probably not.
So start being more specific going forward from right now. Get very precise with your time, words, and goals and see how quickly your whole life starts to improve!
It takes some effort but it’s worth it.
