Protect Your Capital

Save, invest and grow your money. You can reinvest the growth part. You can also spend it. But protect your capital as a high priority.

If you lose some or all of your capital, it can be very hard to replace. It takes more time and effort and is not always ideal.

Put guardrails in place to preserve your capital. Get great people working on growing it.

Are You Sure?

What do you actually know is true? If you hear something from a friend, the news or a politician, how can you know what they are saying is actually verifiably correct?

Many people assume they are being told the correct information. And yet, they may not be. Go explore the opposite and see if it could be true.

You want to think your sources are so much better but perhaps they are more biased than you ever noticed. Look into it. Deeply. You may surprise yourself.

Mourn Your Loss

Whether it is a baseball game, person, an item or time, take the time to mourn your loss properly. There are 5 stages of grief and some extend that to 7.

Look those up and allow yourself to go through them. If you skip steps or the process, it will stay with you and be damaging in other ways.

Losing and loss can be incredibly difficult. It all depends on your attachment to that which was lost and a new vision of life that you can imagine.

Remember the good. Often.

State Your Wants Clearly

Spend your time on clarifying precisely what you want and when you want it.

If you spend your time on listing out the things you don’t want, you’re actually increasing your chances of getting those, just by bringing them into your focused consciousness.

So write out your wants everyday. Stay focused. And get things coming to you.

Progress Compounds

Do one thing each day toward your goal. In three days it won’t feel or look like much but in 30 days you will feel momentum and have a trend going.

In just 90 days you can have made a huge difference in your life or project.

Value the small and consistent wins. Take actions, large and small, towards your clearly written goal.

Have faith. Keep hope in your soul. Maintain a willingness to continue. Stay disciplined. Be resilient. Then you will see, and benefit from, how progress compounds.
