Assess each word. Be aware of your own bias. Stay level headed. Consider that everything you’re hearing could be a lie. Check sources.

Decide!
That’s it. The rest will usually fall in place.
Find Time To Laugh
Laughter is the best medicine.
Go to a comedy club. Watch a comedy special. Buy a comedy album, cassette, CD, DVD or streaming special.
Just get more laughter into your life.
Stay In Touch
Keep friends in your life. Stay in touch. Sometimes this can be a few times a year and for others it may be more frequently. Either way, a quick text here and a brief call there all add up to a stronger relationship as the years go by.
Listen Carefully
When having a conversation with another person, listen carefully, not casually. Listen to what the person is actually saying. Listen to the words they are using and the order of the words.
Occasionally you will need to understand the general point and other times it will be the specifics.
And when a specific question or comment is made, accept it for that which it is. Do not try to guess what they really mean, or mind read. Answer the actual question, not another question you have made up in your mind.
Use Your Life For Good
Whatever this means to you, but it has to be seen universally as good.
Do Things While You Can
You have more energy and time when you’re in your teens and 20’s. Travel, explore, be serious about a sport. Do things that you won’t be able to easily do by the age of 60 or 70.
You have more brain power throughout your life and might notice a decline by 65 or 75. Use it while you can.
Let People Know
Let people know, while they’re alive, all the good things you notice about them. Say it daily. Write them notes. Send them a full page letter.
People rarely hear enough good things about them after the age of 18. Let’s change that.
Find Your Faith
What do you believe in?
Have you ever really sat down for an hour and wrestled with this? Perhaps you have very clear cut convictions. Writing out your thoughts can be very helpful.
I think there was a scene in Bull Durham where the player rhymed off everything he believed in. Can you do that?
Maybe it’s time to give it more thought. ????
Plan Your Day
Ideally your day is planned a day ahead or more. As your life gets busier with important meetings, ceremonies or events, you may even start booking yourself a year or two in advance.
You may be part of a year-long concert tour starting eight months from now, or you might have tickets to the Olympics in 16 months. Regardless, you should be booking in the key events you want in your life.
You also benefit from blocking time with key tasks for tomorrow. What time will you wake up? Get out of bed? Eat breakfast? Get in your shower, get dressed, get to your work desk and start working
Note the priorities of the day and how much time each task will take. Make it a competition to see if you can complete a task in the time you allocated.
Once your day ahead is planned, you need to keep the plan close by and execute on your plan. Try not to let meetings over-run or too many distractions creep in. Remember, this plan is to achieve your priorities, not get distracted responding to other people’s priorities.
Stay focused. Move swiftly. Speak only when necessary. Keep interactions short but effective.
